We hope in some small way to bring back an old New Orleans memory with a little different twist in BBQ.

The Frey family has been in the meat business for six generations in New Orleans.

Frey became a local meat packing company in 1865, operating for over 120 years. Chef Ray and his brothers are great-grandsons of Louis Frey who was the founder of the L.A. Frey and Sons meat packing company. The Gruezke family hopes to acknowledge their past and look to the future as part of the food industry in New Orleans…
